Andrés Orozco-Estrada and hr-Symphonieorchester open the Rheingau Music Festival
Andrés Orozco-Estrada and the hr-Sinfonieorchester, from which he has just taken farewell as chief conductor, will now open this year's Rheingau Music Festival jointly with the Federal President's Benefit Concert on June 26, 2021.
Augustin Hadelich will play the solo part in Sibelius' Violin Concerto, which will be performed alongside Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5.
The concert will be repeated on June 27, 2021, with the addition of Mendelssohn's overture "The Hebrides." This concert will be broadcast live online beginning at 7:00 p.m.
